Jasmine

I had SO much fun with you!

Katherine Stone

Wait. That was you? I thought I was with Bret Michaels ...

Robin Plemmons

Yep. All of that. Love you, Laurie. I'm sad that I didn't hear more commentary about the tiny animals in glass cases from Vikki.

IzzyMom

You should have come to my roundtable–I'd have you off this Typepad contraption by now!

I kid...sort of :)

It was, as always, wonderful to see you and you know if you ever need to talk, I'm only a phone call away.

Long live the NonCon...may she forever be small, intimate and full of awesome people like you XO

Vikki

You drove me crazy in all the best ways. I get anxious at conferences but didn't feel anxious at all (well...not very anxious) and I had a great time. I felt like i really got to talk to people, you included. Hearing people's stories and laughing and/or crying with them is the most real and fantastic thing in this world. There was plenty of that.

And being called a "really twisted Snow White with an iPhone" may be the best thig anyone has written about me lately.

Alexandra

You made me cry.

Because I feel we are so much alike--so very much alike--and the internet has been like this great fishing net that Jesus used to cast out, and after years of me casting out and it coming back empty, it's coming back full now.

So full that the tears flood out of my eyes from the beauty of the catch.

I love you, I even forgive you, for almost leaving my children motherless from choking on a green bean due to No Topic Introduction.

It's you who are the magical one, Laurie, with the way you leave a person feeling accepted: warts and all.

BIG LOVE.

Anissa

That rooftop talk was good. for you and for me. We both made big changes this year and it takes time. Be confident in your abilities and heart, my fried. You have an amazing support team ready to back you up if you need us.

Next year I am so going to make it. I tried my damndest this year, but, well, shit, life (life filled with colored pencilable feelingsssss). I am so glad you pushed through the unbloggable and made it there and that the experience was all that I knew it would be. Next year, y'all. Next year.

Excellent post. I will be going through some of these issues as well..

Micheal Pechart

A motivating discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you need to publish more about this topic, it may not be a taboo matter but typically people don't talk about such issues. To the next! All the best!!
